Call for Proposals is open until January 6, 2010 for Gov 2.0 Expo. Happening May 25-27, 2010, Gov 2.0 Expo will showcase the real-world application of Web 2.0 technologies in government and municipal sectors, featuring a practical program that will teach government employees and contractors how to apply technology best practices to government programs, and in turn introduce new companies to the government market.

Gov 2.0 Summit is a non partisan forum for advancing the Obama administration's agenda of participation, collaboration and transparency among government, industry, and non profit leaders. This senior-level event seeks to help bring the principles and technologies of Web 2.0 to bear in the practice of governing, to help government at all levels overcome the significant challenges our nation faces.

Chaired by Tim O'Reilly, tech visionary and the father of the term Web 2.0, and Dick O'Neill, founder and President of The Highlands Group, attendance at the Gov 2.0 Summit is by invitation only to maintain an intimate setting and foster dialogue among all participants.
